1. Purpose and scope of this Prohibited Products Policy

This Prohibited Products Policy explains what you are not allowed to list or sell on Gidun and where extra caution and restrictions apply. It exists to protect buyers, sellers, Gidun and the wider public. It also helps you understand why certain items that might be legal somewhere still cannot be sold through this marketplace. The tone of this policy is strict, but it is also meant to be conversational and educational, so that you can make informed decisions before you list anything on Gidun and avoid accidental violations that could affect your account.

This policy applies to every seller, regardless of where you are located or whether you are a business or an individual. Whenever you use Gidun listing tools, upload content, or otherwise offer products or services for sale, you agree to follow the rules in this document. This policy is part of the overall agreement you have with Gidun and works together with the Terms of Service, the Seller Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Shipping Policy, the Returns & Replacements and the Refund Policy. If you are ever unsure whether your product is allowed, you must review this Prohibited Items carefully and contact Gidun before listing the item.

1.1 How this policy fits with other Gidun documents

This policy does not stand on its own. It is one piece of a larger framework that governs how the marketplace operates. The Terms of Service explain the general rules for all users, including buyers and visitors. The Seller Terms explain your responsibilities as a seller, such as how you treat buyers, how payments and fees work, and how disputes are handled. This Prohibited Items focuses specifically on what you can and cannot offer on the platform.

If there is ever a conflict between this policy and another Gidun document regarding whether a product is allowed, this policy will usually be treated as the primary reference for product eligibility. However, you still need to follow all other policies at the same time. For example, even if a product is not explicitly prohibited here, it may still violate content guidelines, intellectual property rules or local law, and that would still be a problem.

1.2 Who must follow this policy

Every seller must follow this policy from the moment they apply for a seller account and throughout their use of Gidun. This includes individual sellers, registered businesses, affiliates who may also act as sellers, and anyone else who lists items or services using a seller account. It also covers any employees, contractors or other people who manage your listings, content, customer service or fulfilment on your behalf. You are responsible for the actions of anyone who has access to your seller tools.

Buyers and visitors are not expected to know every detail in this document, but they are protected by it. Buyers are encouraged to report listings or behaviour that appear to violate these rules. Gidun may also use automated tools and manual review teams to enforce this policy proactively and to protect the marketplace from harmful products and content.

2. General rule about legality and Gidun discretion

Before getting into detailed categories, there is one big rule that applies to every product and service on Gidun. If something is illegal where the seller is located, or illegal where the buyer is located, then it is not allowed on Gidun. On top of that, even if a product is technically legal in some places, Gidun may still decide that it is too risky or not compatible with the values and safety standards of the marketplace and therefore prohibit it.

In other words, just because you can legally sell something in your country does not automatically mean you can sell it on Gidun. You must pass both tests. The product must be legal under all relevant laws and regulations, and it must also be allowed by this Prohibited Items and by Gidun internal risk and trust standards. Gidun has the final say on what is acceptable to offer on the platform.

2.1 Products illegal in any relevant country

If a product would be illegal to manufacture, own, sell, ship, import, export or use in either the seller country or the buyer country, it is automatically prohibited on Gidun. This includes items that are legal in some places but illegal in others. As a seller, you are responsible for understanding and complying with the laws that apply where you operate and where your customers are located.

This rule covers national laws, regional laws and local regulations. For example, an item might be legal at a national level but banned in a particular state, province or city. In such cases, you must not use Gidun to sell that item into the places where it is prohibited. If Gidun becomes aware that you are selling into prohibited regions, we may remove listings, cancel orders and take action against your account.

2.2 Gidun right to go beyond legal minimums

Sometimes, a product might be legal to sell somewhere but still be troubling from a safety, ethical or brand perspective. Gidun reserves the right to disallow such products even when they are technically lawful. For example, items that encourage reckless behaviour, exploit vulnerable communities or rely on deceptive practices might be restricted even if they are not clearly illegal.

If Gidun decides that a product is not appropriate for the marketplace, we may remove it, restrict it or classify it as a restricted item that requires special approval, even if no law explicitly forbids it. Gidun may not be able to list every prohibited or restricted product in advance, so this policy also includes a general caution that we may act on emerging risks as we become aware of them.

3. Weapons, violence and destructive materials

Weapons and items that make it easier to harm people or property create serious safety risks and legal issues. Gidun takes a strong stance here. Several classes of weapons and destructive materials are absolutely forbidden, while some dangerous or sensitive tools are only allowed under narrow conditions, if at all. This section explains which products related to violence and destruction are clearly prohibited and how we treat borderline items.

Sellers should always err on the side of caution with anything that could cause serious harm. If your product could reasonably be seen as a weapon or as designed to facilitate violence, it likely does not belong on Gidun. Even if you believe there may be legitimate uses, you must consider how the product looks to an ordinary person and how it might realistically be used or misused.

3.1 Firearms, ammunition and gun related products

Gidun completely prohibits firearms of every kind. This includes handguns, rifles, shotguns, homemade or improvised guns and any other device that can fire a projectile using explosive force or similar power. Ammunition of all kinds, including bullets, cartridges, shells and casings that are ready to load or reload, is also prohibited.

Gun parts and accessories whose main purpose is to build, modify or operate a firearm are prohibited as well. This includes frames, receivers, barrels, magazines, silencers, conversion kits and similar components. Realistic replicas that could easily be mistaken for real firearms are also prohibited, because they present serious safety risks for buyers and the public.

3.2 Other weapons and combat items

Beyond firearms, Gidun prohibits a wide range of weapons and combat oriented items. Examples include knives primarily designed as weapons rather than tools, such as combat knives or blades marketed mainly for self defence, stun guns and tasers, batons, brass knuckles and similar devices whose main purpose is to injure or intimidate people.

This prohibition does not automatically cover every object that could possibly be used as a weapon. Kitchen knives, tools, sporting equipment and similar items that have clear everyday uses may be allowed, but their listings must not market them as weapons or glorify violence. If the marketing or design makes it clear that harm is the primary intention, the product will be treated as a prohibited weapon.

3.3 Explosives, fireworks and destructive materials

Gidun prohibits explosives, fireworks and items whose primary purpose is to create explosions or destructive blasts. This includes commercial explosives, home made explosive kits, fireworks that are illegal or highly regulated in many places, and explosive precursors whose main intended use on the marketplace would be to manufacture explosives.

Some industrial or laboratory chemicals may be lawful and may have legitimate uses, but if the product is clearly marketed as a way to make explosives or similar destructive devices, it is prohibited. Gidun may remove listings that combine ingredients, instructions or marketing in a way that strongly suggests the real intention is to build destructive weapons, even if the individual components could in theory be used safely.

4. Drugs, substances, smoking and alcohol

Substances that affect health, perception and behaviour are tightly regulated in many countries. Gidun must respect those regulations and protect users from products that can cause serious harm, addiction or legal trouble. This section explains how we treat illegal drugs, controlled substances, drug related paraphernalia, smoking and vaping products and alcoholic beverages.

Because laws differ widely from place to place, sellers must pay careful attention to their own local rules as well as rules in buyer locations. When in doubt, it is safer not to list borderline items that could be seen as promoting illegal or harmful substance use.

4.1 Illegal drugs and controlled substances

Gidun prohibits all illegal drugs and controlled substances. This includes substances that are illegal under national law in any relevant jurisdiction, as well as drugs that require special licences that the seller does not hold. Synthetic drugs, street drugs and experimental substances with no approved medical use are all prohibited.

Any product whose main purpose is to deliver, store or disguise illegal drugs is also prohibited. For example, kits marketed for ingesting certain illegal substances or containers marketed primarily as a way to hide those substances from authorities will not be allowed. Even if a product could possibly have a lawful use, if the listing clearly targets illegal drug use, it will be treated as prohibited.

4.2 Drug paraphernalia and related accessories

Drug paraphernalia that is primarily intended for illegal drug use is prohibited on Gidun. This can include certain types of pipes, bongs, devices marketed as tools for preparing or consuming illegal drugs, and kits that are closely associated with illegal substance culture. Gidun pays attention to the overall context, language and imagery in your listing when deciding whether something counts as prohibited paraphernalia.

If an item is primarily associated with illegal drugs in most jurisdictions, even if it is technically legal to own, Gidun may still choose to treat it as prohibited because of the surrounding risk. When listing accessories that might have both legitimate and illegitimate uses, sellers must be extremely careful to describe only lawful uses and to avoid cultural cues that tie the product to illegal substances.

4.3 Smoking, vaping and related products

Gidun prohibits tobacco products, smoking materials and vaping products. This includes cigarettes, cigars, pipe tobacco, smokeless tobacco, nicotine pouches, vapes, e liquids and similar items. Accessories whose main use is smoking or vaping, such as certain types of specialised devices or cartridges, are also not allowed.

This prohibition reflects both health concerns and the difficulty of reliably enforcing age restrictions across many jurisdictions. Sellers must not attempt to bypass this rule by labelling smoking or vaping products as collectibles, props or non functional items. If Gidun believes a listing really relates to smoking or vaping, the product may be removed even if the description tries to mask that fact.

4.4 Alcoholic beverages

Unlike the categories above, Gidun does not impose a blanket prohibition on alcoholic beverages. However, alcohol is heavily regulated and can only be sold when it is legal in all relevant jurisdictions and when the seller fully complies with local laws, including age verification and licensing requirements. If you wish to list alcoholic products, you must be able to demonstrate that you hold all licences necessary for production, distribution and retail sale in your region.

You must not offer alcohol to buyers in countries or regions where it is illegal, nor to persons below the legal drinking age in their location. You must also obey any packaging, labelling and shipping requirements that apply to alcoholic products. Gidun may limit or remove alcohol related listings if we believe that age verification and legal compliance cannot be reliably maintained, or if our risk assessment changes.

5. Health, medical, supplements and wellness claims

Health related products can have a significant impact on users. They may also be subject to strict regulatory frameworks for medicines, medical devices and supplements. Gidun expects sellers to handle these products with great care and to avoid making unverified or misleading claims. This section sets out what is completely prohibited and what may be allowed only with responsible presentation and compliance with local regulations.

When in doubt, assume that any claim to treat, cure or prevent a disease or serious medical condition requires prior approval from relevant regulators. If you do not have that approval, do not make such claims and do not list products that rely on those claims for their value.

5.1 Prescription medicines and medical devices requiring prescriptions

Gidun prohibits the sale of prescription medicines of any kind. This includes all drugs that can only be dispensed legally by licensed professionals or pharmacies on the basis of a valid prescription. Prescription status is considered with respect to the buyer jurisdiction and seller jurisdiction. Products that are prescription only in either location may not be sold on Gidun.

Medical devices that require a prescription or professional supervision are also prohibited unless Gidun has explicitly created a specialised program and verified the sellers involved. Examples include certain diagnostic devices, injectable products and advanced therapeutic equipment. In the absence of such a program, you must not list these items.

5.2 Unapproved treatments, miracle cures and misleading health products

Any product that claims to treat, cure, prevent or mitigate diseases or serious health conditions without proper regulatory approval is prohibited. This includes so called miracle cures, untested treatments and devices that promise dramatic health effects without credible evidence or legal authorisation.

Gidun also prohibits products that promote misinformation in sensitive areas such as pandemic diseases or vaccines. Devices or remedies that are marketed as alternatives to scientifically established treatments in ways that discourage proper medical care are not allowed. You may describe general wellbeing benefits for certain lawful products, but you must not cross the line into prohibited medical claims.

5.3 Dietary supplements and wellness products

Dietary supplements and wellness products exist in a grey area between food and medicine. Some are lawful and widely used, while others contain banned ingredients or rely on unverified claims. Gidun prohibits supplements that contain ingredients banned by major regulators or that make strong medical claims without authorisation.

If you list supplements that are legal in your region, you must ensure full and accurate labelling, including ingredients, dosages and warnings. You must not claim that a supplement can cure diseases or replace professional medical care. Gidun may request documentation or certifications and may remove listings that appear risky or misleading.

5.4 Medical grade equipment and professional devices

Not all medical grade equipment is prohibited. Devices that require professional operation, such as certain diagnostic tools, may be allowed when the seller is clearly verified as a legitimate seller of medical equipment and when listings are targeted at qualified professionals. However, such items remain sensitive, and Gidun may apply additional review or restrictions.

In all cases, marketing must be responsible and must not encourage unqualified users to attempt professional procedures at home. If there is doubt, Gidun may choose to remove or restrict the product in order to protect buyers and reduce the risk of serious harm.

6. Sexual content, nudity and intimate services

Gidun is intended to be a marketplace that can be comfortably browsed by a wide range of users, including people who may access the site from shared spaces or family environments. As a result, sexually explicit products and services are not appropriate for this platform. This section explains how Gidun handles adult content, sexual products and nudity.

The overall direction is clear. Sexually explicit products, erotic services and content focused on arousal are prohibited. Limited exceptions may exist for mild artistic or educational material, but these are narrow and must be handled with great care.

6.1 Sex toys, pornography and fetish products

Gidun prohibits sex toys designed primarily for sexual stimulation. This includes devices marketed for intimate use, wearable items that have an inherently sexual function and accessories whose main purpose is sexual satisfaction. Explicit pornography in any format is also prohibited, including printed material, digital files, photographs, videos and virtual experiences.

Fetish products whose main appeal is sexual, especially those associated with explicit adult practices, are likewise prohibited. This includes items advertised with explicit images or descriptions that make clear that sexual arousal is the central intention. Sellers must not attempt to disguise such products as health or novelty items when the reality is clear from text, imagery or targeting.

6.2 Nudity and erotic imagery

Nudity and erotic imagery are not allowed when the primary purpose is sexual arousal. This includes art photography, comics and illustrations that clearly focus on explicit sexualised portrayal, even if there is some creative or narrative framing. Listings that use explicit images to promote otherwise lawful products are also prohibited.

There may be limited room for tasteful, non erotic art that includes partial nudity in a non sexual context, but this is a sensitive area. Gidun will evaluate context, presentation and audience when deciding whether such material is acceptable. If you are unsure, it is safer to avoid using imagery that includes nudity at all.

6.3 Sexual services and adult entertainment

Any service that has a sexual nature is prohibited. This includes escort services, companionship offerings that imply sexual expectations, cam services, in person adult entertainment and similar activities. It also covers content subscription services where nudity or sexual acts are the main attraction, even if the service is described as lifestyle or modelling.

Sellers may not use Gidun to advertise, promote or arrange any form of sexual service, whether paid or in exchange for goods or other benefits. Attempting to use innocent looking listings or coded language to promote adult services is a serious violation and may result in immediate account action.

7. Hate, violence, harassment and dangerous behaviours

Gidun does not allow products or content that promote hatred, harassment or violence against individuals or groups. This section covers products that glorify self harm, suicide and dangerous challenges, as well as items that support hate movements, harassment campaigns or discriminatory behaviour. Our approach is firm because these products can cause deep harm and have wide social impact.

Sellers are expected to think not only about what a product is, but also about what it communicates. Items that send messages of hatred or encourage harmful actions have no place on Gidun, even if they are technically just pieces of fabric or printed materials.

7.1 Self harm, suicide and dangerous challenges

Any product that glorifies or encourages self harm, suicide, eating disorders or extremely dangerous stunts is strictly prohibited. This includes items with slogans or graphics that romanticise self injury, promote starvation as a lifestyle or encourage people to attempt potentially lethal challenges.

Sellers must not trivialise serious mental health issues or promote content that suggests harming oneself is attractive, fun or admirable. Educational or supportive resources about mental health may be allowed when they are positive, evidence based and respectful, but anything that pushes users toward harm is clearly forbidden.

7.2 Hate, extremism and targeted violence

Gidun prohibits products that promote or celebrate hate, extremism or violence against any group based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar traits. This includes flags, uniforms, patches, symbols and memorabilia that clearly represent extremist organisations, recognised hate groups or terror movements.

Apparel, accessories or media that call for violence, expulsion or discrimination against protected groups are likewise prohibited. Satirical or critical art that references such symbols may be evaluated case by case, but products that clearly side with or glorify hateful ideology will not be permitted under any circumstance.

7.3 Harassment, bullying and doxxing

Products whose main purpose is to harass, intimidate or humiliate specific individuals or groups are prohibited. Examples include items that display personal contact details without consent, merchandise created specifically to target a private individual with ridicule or threats, or tools marketed as ways to track, expose or torment particular people.

More generally, sellers must avoid products and messaging that encourage bullying or organised harassment. Items such as shirts or posters with messages that clearly urge people to gang up on or exclude others may be treated as prohibited if the impact is severe and targeted.

8. Intellectual property, counterfeit and digital piracy

Respect for intellectual property is essential for a healthy marketplace. Gidun aims to be a place where genuine creators and legitimate brands can thrive, not a marketplace for cloned designs, fake brands or stolen content. This section explains how we treat counterfeit items, confusing lookalikes and digital piracy.

Sellers must ensure they have the legal right to sell every product and to use every piece of content they upload. Ignorance of intellectual property rules is not an excuse once infringement occurs.

8.1 Counterfeit and fake branded products

Counterfeit products that imitate the trademarks or trade dress of another brand and are presented as genuine are strictly prohibited. This includes fake designer fashion, counterfeit electronics, false branded accessories, unauthorised collectibles and any item that tries to pass off as a real product of a third party company without permission.

Even if you clearly state that an item is not genuine, if it uses trademarks, logos or other protected elements without authorisation, it may still be considered infringing and prohibited. You must not use brand names in your listings in a way that misleads buyers into thinking that there is an official relationship when none exists.

8.2 Confusing lookalikes and mislabelled inspired products

Some products are inspired by well known designs or may be compatible with popular devices. It is possible to sell such products lawfully, but only if you are very clear and honest. Gidun prohibits lookalike products that are designed to mislead buyers into believing they are official or original items, especially when trademarks and distinctive visual elements are closely copied.

If you sell compatible products, you must label them in a way that makes it obvious they are third party items, not official merchandise. You may include references to compatibility where legally permitted, but must avoid copying logos or protected designs. Listings that blur this line may be removed or treated as prohibited.

8.3 Digital piracy and unauthorised keys

Pirated media of every kind is prohibited. This includes copied or unauthorised movies, music, ebooks, games, software and any other digital or physical media that has been duplicated or distributed without permission from rights holders. It does not matter whether the files are on discs, in downloads, on drives or in other formats. If they are not authorised, they are not allowed on Gidun.

Unauthorised digital keys, licence codes and accounts are also prohibited. This covers cracked keys, region bypass keys, game accounts resold in violation of original terms and any access credentials not provided through official channels. Any listing that offers cheap access by exploiting licensing rules is likely to be seen as violating this policy.

9. Cybersecurity, data and privacy related items

Technology related products can create special risks if they are used to compromise privacy, security or digital systems. Gidun places strict limits on items that are clearly designed for hacking, surveillance without consent or misuse of personal data. At the same time, we recognise that some security tools have legitimate uses for research and protection. This section explains where we draw the line.

Sellers should be honest and responsible when offering technology products. Marketing that glorifies hacking, illicit surveillance or data theft is a clear red flag and will be treated as a serious violation.

9.1 Hacking tools, malware and keyloggers

Gidun prohibits software, hardware or guides whose main purpose is to break into systems, steal data or damage devices. This includes malware, trojans, ransomware, keyloggers, password stealers, exploit kits and any product whose principal advertised function is to compromise computers, networks or online accounts.

Educational content about cybersecurity can be lawful when it focuses on defence and ethical research, but products that provide step by step instructions for criminal hacking or supply ready made attack tools cannot be sold on Gidun. Even if a seller claims that such tools are for security testing, if they are clearly practical for unauthorised intrusions, they will be treated as prohibited.

9.2 Personal data lists, hacked accounts and credentials

Any product offering personal data, hacked accounts or access credentials is strictly prohibited. This includes databases of email addresses, phone numbers or other personal information, social media accounts, game accounts, site logins and similar access tokens. Claims that such data was obtained legally do not change this rule. Gidun does not allow the trade of personal data or accounts without clear and lawful authority.

Services that promise to reveal sensitive information about private individuals, such as location, background or contact details, are also prohibited. Such offerings often involve doxxing, stalking or privacy violations, which have no place on Gidun.

9.3 Surveillance devices and covert recording

Not all surveillance devices are prohibited, but they are treated very cautiously. Conventional cameras, security systems and recording equipment that are clearly visible and intended for lawful monitoring can be acceptable. However, devices whose main selling point is that they are covert or disguised as something else present serious privacy issues.

Gidun does not impose an absolute ban on every product that could be used for hidden recording, but we may restrict or remove products that are marketed primarily as tools for secret spying, especially in private spaces where people expect a high degree of privacy. Sellers must present any surveillance related product in a responsible way that emphasises lawful and ethical use.

9.4 Security research tools and dual use technology

Certain tools can be used for both good and bad purposes. For example, network scanners and penetration testing frameworks may be used by security professionals to protect systems, but they can also be misused. Gidun recognises this dual use reality and does not automatically ban every tool that could be used for hacking.

However, for these tools to be acceptable, listings must be framed around lawful, professional or educational uses and must not encourage or glorify criminal activity. Gidun may restrict availability of such tools to verified buyers or regions, or may remove them if abuse becomes evident. We balance the benefits to legitimate security work against potential harm.

10. Financial products, schemes and complex contracts

Financial products and schemes can create large risks, including fraud, regulatory violations and serious losses for buyers. Gidun is not meant to be a platform for selling complex financial instruments or recruiting people into questionable money making systems. This section explains what kinds of financial related products and services are prohibited.

Sellers must understand that, in many countries, offering financial products requires licences and regulatory oversight. Even where this is not obvious, Gidun prefers a cautious approach rather than exposing users to unsafe schemes.

10.1 Unlicensed investments, loans and financial services

Gidun prohibits products and services that function as unlicensed investment offerings, lending services or financial advice sold as a product. This includes informal investment pools, unregistered securities, loan arrangements and similar offers unless they are part of a clearly regulated and approved program that Gidun has explicitly agreed to support.

Packages that promise to set up unlicensed investment clubs or that show how to avoid financial regulations are also prohibited. If your business is in the regulated financial sector, you should not use Gidun to sell those regulated services unless Gidun has specifically created a dedicated framework for them.

10.2 Get rich schemes and credit repair promises

Products that promise quick wealth or guaranteed returns with little risk are not allowed. This includes get rich quick programs, secret trading systems, unverified passive income strategies and similar offerings. Such products often rely on misleading claims and can cause serious financial damage to buyers.

Likewise, services or guides that promise to fix credit scores through questionable tactics, erase debts without payment or bypass legal obligations are prohibited. Educational resources about personal finance may be acceptable when they are balanced and honest, but exaggerated promises of success cross the line.

10.3 Multi level marketing and recruitment packs

Gidun prohibits products whose main purpose is to recruit people into multi level marketing structures or pyramid type schemes. This includes starter packs, downline recruitment kits and materials whose real aim is to increase the number of participants rather than to sell genuine products to end users.

Some legitimate direct selling businesses exist, but the risks of abuse are high. Gidun therefore chooses not to host recruitment centred offerings of this kind. Sellers should focus on offering real products to buyers rather than selling business opportunities that rely on constant recruitment.

10.4 Real estate, land and complex contracts

Gidun is not a platform for selling real estate, land, timeshares or complex financial contracts. These transactions involve heavy regulation, complicated due diligence and significant financial commitments. Offering them through a general marketplace would not provide buyers with the protections and processes they need.

As a result, listings for land, houses, apartments, long term leases, timeshares or other substantial property interests are prohibited. Sellers may list physical products or services connected to housing, such as furniture or cleaning services where permitted, but not ownership interests themselves.

11. Human and animal related materials

Products that involve human or animal bodies present serious ethical, legal and health concerns. Gidun takes a very strict approach to these categories. This section outlines what is completely prohibited and where some limited exceptions may exist, mostly in the area of art and legally sourced materials.

Sellers should treat any listing involving human or animal remains or parts as extremely sensitive. Most such items are not appropriate for a global consumer marketplace.

11.1 Human body parts and biological materials

Real human body parts, organs, bones, bodily fluids or genetic material are strictly prohibited. This includes preserved organs, skeletal parts, blood, plasma, tissue samples, hair offered in bulk and any other biological material taken from living or deceased people. These items raise profound ethical issues and are heavily regulated in most jurisdictions.

Gidun may allow artwork created by humans that depicts the human body, such as paintings or sculptures, as long as it does not use actual human remains and does not violate other content rules. However, any attempt to trade in real human material will result in immediate removal and possible account action.

11.2 Animal parts, endangered species and cruelty

Gidun prohibits the sale of animal parts from protected or endangered species. This includes ivory, certain furs, trophies, taxidermy specimens and similar items from animals that are protected under international or local conservation laws. Sellers must not list such products even if they claim to have old stock or inherited items.

Animal products from non endangered species may be allowable, but they must comply with all wildlife, conservation and animal welfare laws. Products that clearly promote or rely on animal cruelty, such as dog fighting equipment or devices designed to inflict unnecessary suffering, are also strictly prohibited. Gidun may choose to restrict or remove other animal related products if cruelty concerns arise.

11.3 Live animals and insects

Gidun does not allow the sale of live animals or live insects on the marketplace. This includes pets, livestock, birds, reptiles, fish and insects, whether for companionship, consumption or other purposes. The logistics, welfare issues and legal variations involved make it unsuitable for our platform.

Sellers may offer products and accessories for animals, such as pet supplies, provided they are safe and lawful. However, any listing that involves shipping living creatures is prohibited and will be removed when found.

12. Chemicals, hazardous materials and technical products

Chemicals and technical materials can be essential for many legitimate uses, but they can also be dangerous if mishandled or combined with deceptive marketing. Gidun tries to strike a balance by allowing some lawful and properly labelled chemicals while prohibiting especially hazardous uses and mislabelled products. This section provides guidance on what is acceptable and what is not.

Sellers must pay attention to safety, labelling and shipping rules in their jurisdictions, and must not treat hazardous materials casually. Gidun may apply additional scrutiny to chemical listings and remove those that present unreasonable risk.

12.1 Highly dangerous chemicals and unlabelled reagents

Gidun is cautious about highly flammable, corrosive or toxic chemicals, especially when they are unlabelled or marketed without proper safety information. While there is no absolute ban on industrial grade solvents, corrosive substances or lab reagents, any listing that lacks clear labelling, hazard warnings and appropriate packaging information will not be accepted.

If you list chemicals, you must provide clear descriptions of concentration, intended lawful use and safety handling. You must also comply with shipping regulations and may only ship such items where local law allows it. Items that appear to be offered without regard for safety are likely to be removed.

12.2 Cosmetic and skincare products

Cosmetics and skincare products that are homemade or unlabelled present particular risks. Gidun prohibits unlabelled or homemade cosmetic and skincare products that do not meet basic requirements for ingredient disclosure, safety warnings and hygienic production. Buyers must know what they are putting on their skin and must be able to trust that basic standards have been met.

If you offer cosmetics or skincare, you must follow applicable cosmetic regulations, provide complete and accurate ingredient lists and include any required warnings, especially for products around the eyes or for sensitive skin. Products that appear to be mixed informally without standards or that conceal their ingredients cannot be listed.

12.3 Perishable foods and special storage products

Perishable foods that require refrigeration or careful handling are not automatically prohibited, but they come with strict responsibilities. Sellers may offer such products only when they can demonstrate that they meet food safety rules, use suitable packaging and maintain appropriate temperature controls during storage and shipping.

Gidun may require additional verification or documentation for sellers dealing in perishable goods. Listings must honestly describe storage needs, shelf life and any risks associated with improper handling. If Gidun believes that a seller cannot reliably maintain safety standards, we may restrict or remove their perishable food listings.

12.4 Products subject to recalls

If a product has been recalled by a manufacturer, regulator or other authority, it may not be sold on Gidun, even if the seller claims to have repaired or modified it. Once a recall has been issued, the safest course is to remove the affected items from circulation, not to resell them.

Sellers are responsible for staying informed about recalls that affect the products they sell and for acting promptly when recall notices are issued. Gidun may also monitor public recall information and remove listings that involve recalled products.

13. Gambling, games of chance and stored value items

Products and services related to gambling, lotteries and stored value instruments involve complex laws and significant consumer protection concerns. Gidun treats this category with particular care. While there is not a complete ban on every product connected to games of chance, many items are restricted or prohibited to protect buyers and comply with laws.

Sellers should assume that they cannot freely offer gambling related products unless Gidun has clearly allowed them and verified the seller credentials.

13.1 Lottery tickets and gambling services

Gidun does not impose a simple yes or no rule for all lottery tickets, raffles and gambling chips. However, in practice, most offerings of this kind will not be allowed unless the seller is an official, licensed operator and Gidun has explicitly approved the arrangement. Unlicensed lotteries, online gambling credits and similar services are generally prohibited because they are illegal or tightly regulated in many regions.

If you are considering offering any product that functions as a ticket for a chance based prize, you must recognise that without clear regulatory authorisation and Gidun approval, such listings are very likely to be removed. Gidun is not a platform for informal or unregulated gambling activities.

13.2 Gift cards, prepaid cards and digital currency vouchers

Gift cards, prepaid cards, stored value codes and cryptocurrency vouchers raise serious fraud and money laundering risks. For this reason, Gidun prohibits sellers from offering such instruments unless they are official and part of a specific, verified program that Gidun has agreed to support. General sellers may not list gift cards or value vouchers, even if they claim to be unused.

If Gidun launches its own gift card or voucher program, it will be managed directly or through tightly controlled partners. Sellers should not attempt to list or resell codes or cards connected to third party platforms, as these listings are likely to be removed and may result in account action.

13.3 Games, in game items and chance based mechanics

Digital games and physical games are generally allowed, as long as they do not cross into prohibited gambling territory or infringe intellectual property. However, products that effectively sell chances at random rewards for real money, especially outside the original game environment, may be treated as gambling in some jurisdictions. Sellers must be careful not to create external markets that violate game terms or local law.

In game items may not be sold if they violate the terms of the original game platform or involve unapproved account trading. Gidun will consider both the legal and contractual context when evaluating these listings.

14. Services, remote access and digital assistance

Gidun focuses primarily on goods, but some services and digital assistance may be offered in limited ways. However, certain kinds of services present high risks and are not permitted. This section deals with services that involve physical contact, remote access to devices and other sensitive assistance activities.

The key principle is that services which can easily lead to physical or digital harm, or that are very hard for Gidun to oversee responsibly, will not be allowed on the platform.

14.1 In person services and physical contact

Services that involve physical personal contact, such as massage, escort work, invasive beauty procedures, body modification or similar activities, are not allowed to be offered on Gidun. These services require local licensing, health compliance and often complex safeguards that a global platform cannot reliably supervise.

Sellers may offer informational products, such as non medical beauty guides or general wellness advice, provided they avoid the earlier mentioned restrictions on medical claims and adult content. However, direct services involving contact with a buyers body or private space must not be advertised or sold through Gidun.

14.2 Remote access and device control services

Digital services that involve remote access to a buyers device, such as remote tech support that can control a computer or phone, are prohibited unless part of a very specific, Gidun approved program. Although such services can be legitimate, they also create opportunities for fraud, data theft and abuse.

Sellers may offer guides or troubleshooting checklists, but must not request or require remote control of buyer devices. Any listing that describes or implies remote control, remote installation of software or direct access to private data will be considered a violation.

14.3 Academic cheating and ghostwriting services

Gidun prohibits services and products whose main purpose is to help users cheat academically. This includes essay writing services, exam taking services, homework completion packages and similar offerings. Products that provide pre written essays marketed as original work for submission are also prohibited.

Educational resources that teach concepts, provide practice questions or offer general study support may be allowed, as long as they do not cross the line into doing the work for the student. Marketing language is important here. If the listing actively encourages buyers to submit the material as their own work, it is prohibited.

15. Political, controversial and expressive content

Many products contain political messages, social commentary or controversial ideas. Gidun is not intended to shut down all political expression, but there must be limits to prevent hate, extremism and harassment. This section explains how political and controversial content is handled.

The general approach is that respectful, non hateful political expression may be allowed, while extremist or abusive material is prohibited. Sellers should focus on expressing ideas without targeting individuals or groups for harm.

15.1 Political merchandise and fundraising items

Gidun does not impose a blanket ban on political campaign merchandise or fundraising products linked to active campaigns or parties. Sellers may offer items such as shirts, stickers or posters expressing support for political positions or public figures, as long as they comply with other rules in this policy and with local election and fundraising laws.

However, if political merchandise crosses into hate, incitement or harassment, it will be treated as prohibited under the sections on hate and violence. Sellers are responsible for understanding and complying with legal requirements that apply to fundraising and donations in their regions and buyer regions.

15.2 Borderline controversial art and speech

Some art and speech may shock or offend some viewers while still being lawful and not hateful. Gidun does not seek to remove every controversial work, but expects sellers to show respect and avoid products that are designed mainly to hurt or degrade specific groups of people.

When evaluating such content, Gidun will consider context, tone and target. Satire, criticism and social commentary may be acceptable when they are clearly aimed at ideas or public behaviour, not at dehumanising protected groups. Content that strays into clear hate speech, glorification of violence or targeted abuse will be removed.

16. Products directed at minors and childrens safety

Children and minors deserve special protection. Products and content aimed at them can have large impacts on their health, safety and development. This section explains how Gidun treats products that involve minors or are likely to be used by them. Sellers must be especially careful when designing, marketing and labelling such products.

The guiding principle is that products must not encourage minors to break the law or expose them to unreasonable risks. Safety and transparency must always come first.

16.1 Products encouraging minors to break the law

Products that encourage minors to break the law are prohibited. This includes items like fake identification aimed at underage buyers, novelty items that explicitly promote underage drinking, or modified gaming devices marketed primarily as tools for piracy. Even if some of these products have legitimate uses, if they are clearly targeted at minors for illegal behaviour, they will be removed.

Sellers must avoid marketing language, imagery and design that frame law breaking as a fun or desirable activity for young people. Educational materials that explain laws and consequences in a responsible way may be acceptable, but anything that glamorises illegal activity is not.

16.2 Childrens products and safety standards

Products intended for children, including toys, baby gear, clothing and educational items, must meet all applicable safety standards. Gidun prohibits childrens products that lack basic age labelling, present obvious choking hazards without warnings or appear to have never been tested or certified where certification is required.

Sellers must ensure that materials, construction and design are safe for the age groups targeted. Listings must communicate relevant safety information clearly. Gidun may request documentation, such as safety certificates, and remove products that cannot demonstrate compliance.

16.3 Mature content and age appropriate marketing

Even when a product is not inherently dangerous, it may be inappropriate for children. Sellers should avoid marketing mature content to minors, including items that contain strong violence, explicit language or intense horror, especially where local rules restrict such content. When in doubt, it is safer to present such products in a way that clearly targets adults.

Gidun may adjust the visibility of certain products to reduce accidental exposure to children, and may remove listings that appear to intentionally target minors with adult themes or products unsuitable for them.

17. Misinformation, illegal instruction and harmful guidance

Information products such as books, courses and guides can be very valuable, but they also have the potential to do harm if they spread dangerous misinformation or teach illegal activities. Gidun sets clear boundaries in this area. Educational resources that support lawful, ethical learning are welcome. Materials that promote crime, hatred or dangerous falsehoods are not.

Sellers must think about the impact of the information they provide and avoid framing harmful activities as attractive skills or secrets to exploit.

17.1 Guides that teach illegal activities

Tutorials, manuals or digital guides whose main purpose is to teach illegal activities are prohibited. This includes materials that describe in practical detail how to build weapons, bypass locks, hack systems, produce illegal drugs, forge documents or commit fraud. Even if the seller claims these are for curiosity or self defence knowledge, Gidun will treat them as prohibited when the content is obviously usable for crime.

High level discussions of history, theory or law that mention illegal activities in an educational context may be acceptable, but when the focus is on practical instruction, the listing will be removed. Sellers must avoid promoting such content or using marketing that suggests criminal applications.

17.2 Health misinformation and dangerous advice

As mentioned in the section on health products, Gidun does not allow content that promotes dangerous health misinformation. This includes books, courses or guides that strongly encourage users to abandon proven medical treatments in favour of unapproved remedies or that deny the existence of serious diseases in a way that puts people at risk.

General wellness advice may be allowed when it is balanced and honest, but exaggerated claims, conspiracy theories and content that undermines public health efforts without evidence are not appropriate. Gidun may remove such listings when they pose a clear risk to users.

18. Bundles, disguised listings and attempts to bypass rules

Some sellers attempt to bypass marketplace rules by hiding prohibited items behind innocent looking listings or by bundling forbidden products with allowed ones. Gidun treats such attempts seriously. This section explains how bundles, disguised listings and off platform instructions are handled.

The central idea is simple. If you use deception to offer something that would otherwise be prohibited, you are still violating this Prohibited Items and may face stronger enforcement measures.

18.1 Mixed bundles that hide prohibited items

You may not bundle prohibited items with allowed items in order to sneak them onto the platform. For example, including a prohibited weapon part in a kit labelled as a tool set, or adding unlicensed software to an otherwise lawful computer package, is not acceptable. If any component of a bundle is prohibited, the entire listing will be treated as prohibited.

Sellers must ensure that every item included in a bundle is allowed under this policy and applicable law. You should also clearly list the contents of your bundle so buyers know exactly what they are receiving. Vague descriptions that hint at hidden extras are a warning sign that may trigger review.

18.2 Disguised listings with misleading titles or imagery

Some prohibited offerings may be disguised as innocent products by using generic titles, stock images or vague descriptions while relying on private messages or coded text to communicate their real nature. Gidun prohibits this practice. If the actual product or service being offered is prohibited, the listing cannot remain simply because it uses a neutral title.

Gidun may review listing text, images and patterns of communication. If we discover that a listing is being used as a front for prohibited activity, we may remove it and take action against the seller account. Being intentionally vague in order to hide violations is not a defence.

18.3 Off platform instructions and private arrangements

You must not use Gidun listings as advertising space for off platform deals that involve prohibited products or services. For example, a seller may not offer a seemingly lawful product but then use messages to direct buyers to another site where banned items are available. Such behaviour is considered an attempt to bypass this policy and the Terms of Service.

Even if the prohibited transaction ultimately occurs elsewhere, using Gidun to facilitate it violates the trust that buyers and Gidun place in sellers. We may restrict or terminate accounts that engage in such redirection or that repeatedly attempt to move buyers into unsafe or unregulated environments.

19. Enforcement, account impact and reporting

A policy is only meaningful if it is enforced. This section explains how Gidun enforces the Prohibited Products rules, what can happen to your account when violations occur, and how buyers and sellers can report concerns. The goal is to protect the marketplace while giving sellers a fair chance to correct honest mistakes where appropriate.

Gidun aims to combine automated detection with human judgment. We understand that misunderstandings can happen, but we also take repeated or serious violations very seriously.

19.1 Detection and review of potential violations

Gidun may use automated tools to scan listings for keywords, patterns and images associated with prohibited content. We may also rely on reports from buyers, other sellers and rights holders. When a listing is flagged, it may be removed immediately or hidden while we review it. In some cases, we may contact you for clarification or documentation.

Not every flagged listing results in enforcement action, but you should respond promptly and honestly when Gidun asks for information. Failure to cooperate can be as damaging to your account as a confirmed violation, particularly when safety is at stake.

19.2 Warnings, removals and escalating actions

For many violations, especially where the risk is moderate and does not involve weapons, hate, serious health dangers or exploitation, Gidun may start with a warning and removal of affected listings. This gives you an opportunity to learn the rules and correct your behaviour. However, repeated violations, even of less severe categories, will lead to escalation.

Depending on the seriousness and frequency of violations, Gidun may apply measures such as temporary listing restrictions, reduced visibility in search results, payout delays, or suspension of selling privileges. For very serious violations, such as attempts to sell weapons, illegal drugs, extremist propaganda or products that encourage self harm or child endangerment, Gidun may act more aggressively, including immediate suspension or termination.

19.3 Repeated offences and permanent suspension

If you repeatedly ignore warnings, continue to list prohibited products or show an ongoing pattern of risky behaviour, Gidun may impose extended or permanent account suspension. This means you would lose the ability to sell on Gidun, and in some cases, we may also limit your ability to buy or use other features as a regular user, as allowed by the Terms of Service.

Sellers whose accounts are permanently suspended may not create new seller accounts without explicit permission from Gidun. Attempts to return under new identities or using associates as fronts are themselves grounds for further enforcement.

19.4 Reporting prohibited products

If you see a listing that you believe violates this Prohibited Items, you are encouraged to report it using the tools provided on the site. Include as much detail as you can, such as the reason you believe it is prohibited and any supporting information. Gidun takes reports seriously and uses them as one of several signals when reviewing content.

Sellers may also contact Gidun proactively if they realise that they have accidentally listed a prohibited item. Voluntarily removing such listings and informing Gidun can help prevent more serious consequences and shows that you are acting in good faith.

20. Changes to this Prohibited Products Policy

Laws, societal expectations and platform needs change over time. New products appear and new forms of risk emerge. For this reason, Gidun must be able to update this Prohibited Items as needed. This final section explains how updates happen and what you should do to stay informed about changes.

By continuing to sell on Gidun, you accept that this policy may evolve and that you are responsible for keeping up to date with its current version.

20.1 Right to update and expand categories

Gidun may update this policy to add new prohibited categories, clarify existing ones or adjust its structure. Sometimes updates may be small, such as improving wording or adding examples. Other times, changes may be more significant, such as prohibiting a newly recognised harmful product or relaxing rules in areas where risk has decreased.

We will make reasonable efforts to keep the policy clear and accessible, so you can understand exactly what is expected of you as a seller. The version posted on the site is the one that applies to your current activities.

20.2 Notice of significant changes

For significant changes that materially affect what you may sell, Gidun will aim to provide notice through seller dashboards, email communications or site banners. In some cases, we may grant grace periods to allow you to adjust your inventory or update listings before new rules are strictly enforced. However, if a product creates immediate safety or legal concerns, Gidun may move more quickly.

Your continued use of Gidun after changes become effective indicates your acceptance of the updated policy, to the extent permitted by law and the Terms of Service. If you strongly disagree with any changes, your option is to stop listing products and to close your seller account.

20.3 Where to go for questions and clarification

If you are unsure whether a product is allowed under this Prohibited Items, or if your product falls into a grey area not clearly mentioned, you should contact Gidun before listing it. Use the support channels provided in your seller dashboard or reach out through the Contact Us page for guidance. While we cannot provide legal advice, we can explain how this policy currently applies to certain product types.

Staying in regular communication with Gidun, reading updates and approaching new products with a careful, safety first mindset will help you operate successfully on the marketplace. When in doubt, choose not to list a questionable product until you have clarity. That approach protects you, your customers and the Gidun community as a whole.

By listing products or services on Gidun, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Prohibited Products Policy and agree to follow it, along with the Terms of Service, the Seller Terms and other applicable Gidun policies.
