Start with the words you would use to describe the product, then narrow with filters such as category, price, brand, rating, seller, or availability when those filters are available.
If a search result looks close but not exact, open the product and read the details before buying. Product titles can be short, while descriptions, photos, variants, and specifications usually hold the details that prevent mistakes.
Compare before adding to cart
- Check the main photo and additional photos for size, color, and included items.
- Read the summary and detailed description for compatibility, dimensions, materials, and care instructions.
- Confirm the selected variant, quantity, and price before adding to cart.
- Review seller information if the product is sold by a marketplace seller.
- Look for shipping, return, and handling details that could affect your decision.
When to message a seller
Message the seller before ordering if you need confirmation about fit, compatibility, stock, customization, or timing. Include the product name and the specific detail you need confirmed so the seller can answer quickly.
