Respond to customer messages like a pro

Use the Message Center to answer buyer questions, protect context, and keep conversations useful for customers and support.

The message thread is the source of truth

Message Center keeps conversation history connected to the customer, seller, product, order, or support ticket. That context helps everyone understand what happened without forcing the customer to repeat details.

Replying inside the thread is safer than moving the conversation elsewhere because it preserves timestamps, customer expectations, and support visibility when Gidun needs to review an issue.

How to write strong replies

  1. Start by acknowledging the exact question or issue.
  2. Give the answer first, then add details and next steps.
  3. Use product, order, and tracking references when they help the customer understand the status.
  4. If you need time to investigate, say when you will follow up and then follow up on time.
  5. Keep private internal notes out of public replies.
  6. If the issue needs Gidun Support, open or reply to the support ticket instead of creating multiple separate threads.

Response quality checklist

  • The customer can tell what happens next.
  • The reply is specific to their order or product.
  • No sensitive account or payment details are requested in the thread.
  • Tone is calm, helpful, and professional.
  • The thread remains in one place instead of being split across channels.
